Large size Mandalay sitting king Buddha with remains of paint. This Buddha is also known as a Jambupati Buddha and display special icongraphic features, only found in Burma. The Buddha is seated on a trone in a classical "calling earth to witness" positur. The face is oval with halfclosed eyes and a long distance to the eyebrows. The nose is robust with pronouncedly flaring nostrils. Below it, the small lipped mouth runs nearly horizontally. The top of the head is here made as one big stupa. The ears goes all the way down to the shoulders. In a very good condtion.
