Sitting Mandalay alabaster Buddha from Burma. Remains of red paint on his head. His face is serene and his decorated robe flow over the left shoulder, his chest and legs. Sitting in vajrasana, gesturing to the earth. His fingers on the right hand are seperated, normally the fingers are made as one piece. An older repair on the left hand. The nose is sharp and his hair end in a large clod.
