Beautiful sitting Awa bronze Buddha from Burma. This Buddha is sitting on a very large pierced throne in a calling Earth to witness posture. His oval face has a serene expression, the hair is peppercorn styled and at the top rises the usnisa (flame) shaped as a stupa. The robe is quit simple, covering only left shoulder, and the ears are going all the way down to the shoulders. The bronze is light with few dark greenish spots.. The Buddha is in a good condition, with only some old repairs on the low-end backside.

Smaller classical clear Shan Buddha dressed as a monk with no decoration on the robe or the throne; in a very good condition. Almost no traces of gilt.

High end and very nice sitting crowned Kharachheri also called Bodhisatwa Avalokiteswara.  Always decks with all sorts of ornaments. 4 armed carrying rosary in the right hand and full blown lotus in left. On a lotus throne with handpainted face. In mint condition. Bottom closed by a copper plate with a mark. 1,55 kg.

A silver plate with zodiac figures in the middle, surrounded by Maudgalyayana holding strange human alike figures in his hands. Also decorated with inscriptions. The wheel of life.

This rare figure is called Naga Kanya. First it was a hindu, later a Buddhist guardian. Half Naga half Garuda (snake-bird). Coral inlay, hand painted face, blue wings and red snaked bodies. A very detailed piece.
