Lacquer Buddhas
Lacquered Buddhas also termed Paper Mache are unique. Normally very large, but light and often with an inscription dedicated to the owner. Some of Myanmar’s most attractive and beautiful images are crafted in lacquer, however, as they are fragile, only few are without restorations.
