Extremely rare standing Mandalay Buddha in red lacquer with gilt. Original stone inlay all over. Standing on a large elephant throne covered with leaves and on top a bird. Again, stone inlay all over. A inscription on the back stating the age to be 104 years old. In a good condition compared to the age, with some crackers and dents and a very small missing part of the throne..

Extremely rare Mandalay Buddha seated on an impressive elephant throne adorned with leaves and a bird at the top. Both the Buddha figure and the throne are richly decorated with stone inlays, demonstrating remarkable craftsmanship.
The figure is in good condition relative to its age, with minor cracks and chips. The detailed execution is visible in the numerous stone inlays and the finely ornamented throne.
An inscription on the back with a precise date confirms the age of 104 years, making this Buddha a particularly interesting collector’s piece.
