Beautiful sitting bronze Buddha from Burma. This classical Jambupati Buddha is sitting on a large throne in calling earth to witness position. His oval face has a serene expression, and on top of the head, there is a large crown with an usnisa (flame). The robe is decorated. A nice piece in dark bronze with few remains of red color.

His oval face has a serene expression, the hair is peppercorn styled and at the top rises the large usnisa (flame) shaped as an stupa. The robe is simple covering the left shoulder and the ears are going all the way down to the shoulders. An old antique pieces with a very nice bronze patina.

Larger foodtiffinbox (with tray inside and a cup on top). Woven bamboo strips, over which the lacquer is applied and the smoothed, decorated with elephants and then polished. A very nice piece in a good condition.

Larger beautiful sitting Awa bronze Buddha from Burma. Also called Tai Yai. This Buddha is sitting on a very large Throne in a rather unusual posture,  "healing teacher" or Bhisakta guru. Holding a nut in his right hand and in the left, a bowl with water. His oval face has a serene expression, the hair is peppercorn styled and at the top rises the usnisa (flame) shaped as a stupa. The robe is quit simple, and the ears are normaly going all the way down to the shoulders. But not on this Buddha. The patina is dark brown, nearly blackish. The Buddha is in a excellent condition. A collectors item.

His oval face has a serene expression, the hair is peppercorn styled and at the top rises the usnisa (flame) shaped as a stupa. The robe is very simple, only covering the left shoulder and the ears are going all the way down to the shoulders. The patina is dark with some greenish spots. The Buddha is in a excellent condition.

The robe is quit simple, covering both shoulders (normally the robe is only covering left shoulder), and the ears are going all the way down to the shoulders. The bronze is light brown with few dark greenish spots.. The Buddha is in a excellent condition. A collectors item.
