Rare and beautiful seated Naga Buddha in bronze from Thailand, dating to the late 19th century in the Bangkok period.

This Buddha statue is depicted protected by the Naga – the mythical serpent – a classic and symbolic motif in Buddhist art.

The figure is partly gilt with remaining traces of gilding, enhancing its authentic appearance.

The Buddha is in good condition with only a small hole in the base, which does not affect the overall impression.

With a height of 20 cm, this is a compact and decorative Buddha figure from Thailand.

An excellent choice for collectors seeking a Naga Buddha with strong symbolic meaning.
