Beautiful and finely executed Khmer figure of the god Shiva, cast in bronze and dating to the period between the 9th and 12th century in Cambodia.
The figure presents a calm and harmonious expression, characteristic of the stylized forms found in Khmer art. Shiva, as a central figure in Hinduism, represents transformation and renewal.
