Beautiful and well-proportioned Khmer figure of the god Vishnu, cast in bronze and dating to the period between the 9th and 12th century in Cambodia.
Vishnu is one of the principal deities in Hinduism, associated with preservation and cosmic balance. The figure displays a calm and harmonious expression, characteristic of the stylized forms found in Khmer art.
The bronze has developed a natural patina, adding depth and reinforcing its age and authenticity while preserving the clarity of the details.
Measuring 11 cm without the stand and 14 cm including it, the figure has a compact and elegant presence.
