Very fine smaller Mandalay bowl with interesting scenes in repose. Below the scenes you can see a band of lotus petals. Each scene with fine details of people in high relief, set against a chased background. Remains of Gold. Weight 144 gram.

The bowl is richly decorated with detailed narrative scenes on the sides, likely illustrating part of a traditional story, executed to a very high standard.
Traces of gilding remain. Presented in very fine condition and dating from the late 19th century.
